Birds love it!
We have many different species of birds visiting our feeders now. Many of the tit family, including the coal and marsh tit, the finches, even the beautiful bull finch and quarrelsome goldfinches. Robins, nuthatch and many more. Doves, jackdaws, magpies, jays and crows eat the fallen seeds if they can get there before our dogs as they love them too!

Birds love it.
Used in my bird feeders and attracts Goldfinch, Greenfinch, Greater Spotted Woodpecker and many Tits. Much cheaper to buy in large bags on ebay than buying smaller bags from Garden Centre, D.I.Y shops / Pet shops.
Does not keep as long in the feeders as the complete black sunflower seeds but once the birds find it they prefer the sunflower hearts and they go really quick. The sunflower hearts mean much less mess than the complete seeds though.
For me one of the most important aspects of buying online is the delivery service. It is a crucial part of the service you are paying for and should not be separated out from the product you are buying. We all live busy lives and so I always check before I buy. Bird food Excellent sunflower hearts.
I have been buying these hearts over many years, at first the hearts where no right, the birds loved them but there was a draw back. The left overs made an awful mess, However, after bringing this complaint to Croston the situation was solved, another heart was offered problem solved.
Since then ii buy my hearts from Croston mill excellent,no mess
I forget the name of the hearts but am sure Croston mill will tell you. Never try never know

We changed from mixed wild bird seed to sunflower hearts and found a massive immediate presence of the more colourful birds as well as the usual sparrows. This type of bird seed is expensive wherever you buy it particularly garden centres. I have bought this particular one over last few years along with premium mixed bird seed as the birds simply love it. I get a whole variety of small bids on the feeder.
