Functional for price

good pump rifle, fairly accurate with stock sites, red dots give better accuracy, BB feed is tricky, pellets load in a clip style insert smoothly, overall plastic gun so not super durable but functional for the price, the crossman DPMS SBR is better but at least double the price and takes 2 co-2 cartridges that can get costly.Read full review

Sturdy made. Great replica of the real thing.

Very nice rifle! Harder to pump than the 780 pumpmaster. Very sturdy. Pep sights are very well made. Wished the charging handle was the bolt. The overall fell is the same as the full size rifle. Great value! I would buy this again. Watch your fingers the pump can pinch you. Quality air rifle. Read full review

Still Fun and powerfull!

I've owned different models of the Crosman Pumpmaster since it's inception and enjoyed them all... this Model is no exception. Of Course, as an owner of an actual AR-15, I was attracted by the styling of this latest incarnation. It's still accurate, fun and at 10 pumps easily dispatches rodents, pigeons and other pest and will still completely pierce a TIN can ( not aluminum ) at 10 yards... which my friends break barrel wont! Still the most fun, acurate and economical pest control out there... just be careful walking in public places with it as it realistic AR-15 appearance fools a lot of people which could bring you unwanted attention.Read full review

Nice Air Rifle but beware!

Follow the instructions regarding how to pump it.

Don't hold the stock when you pump it. The stock will break & snap off where it attaches to the receiver. The instructions warn you about this.

I put a aftermarket m-16 carry handle on my receiver to encourage gripping there instead. It is natural to want to hold it by the stock, but don't!

This is my second rifle because my grandkids broke the first one. I liked it well enough to order another in spite of that weakness.

Basically a good pellet gun for target shooting and scaring pesky squirrels that raid bird feeders!

Haven't shot any BBs, but have used pellets. Had to adjust the sights for accuracy, which is "normal" for most any rifle. The clip instructions were not quite as good as they could have been, but after a few times of having issues with the pellets falling out and checking out how the clip would fit into the gun things worked well. Would suggest any buyer, also buy a couple of extra clips since only one comes with the gun. Also, as others have commented, you need to get used to pumping the gun by NOT holding onto the stock of the gun, as the stock would likely break. Overall the gun seems to be a good value.Read full review

A good choice for a lightweight, spring-pump pellet air rifle

A multi-pump air rifle with a rifled barrel that provides consistent shot groupings with pellets and
suitable for both indoor and outdoor target practice.
I would recommend using lead pellets over other types.
It also fires BBs - accuracy many not be as consistent as with pellets.
I would caution the use of BBs which are often a harder material like steel, etc. which can affect or damage the rifling of the barrel, and are more likely to ricochet, if the target surface is too hard for penetrations.
The rifle sights are good for training one's ability to rapidly sighting in on targets.
The rifle is also furnished with picatinny rails, which are a good feature for using other types of sights like scopes, dot reflex, laser, etc.
The pellet clips make it easier to enjoy shooting in low light environments and eliminates the possibility of inserting pellet backwards.
There is plenty of power with 10 pumps - I recommend following Crosman method of pumping, since it requires significant strength to get this higher power, and an improper hand arrangement could damage the less sturdy rifle parts.
No addition cost for operation, like CO2, other then proper maintenance.
It operates well in cold weather.
I think this rifles offers a lot of quality features for the price.
Overall the rifle is robust for a lightweight rifle, - although I may want to get a rifle sling.
I see myself using this rifle for many years of enjoyment.
I just need an adequate supply of pellets and more pellet clips.
Be safe - follow all the safety, operational and maintenance instructions.

Crossman air rifle. Detailed review.

Truly a great buy for around $60. The guns shell is mostly plastic but of a quality grade. It's does have a side charging handle instead of a rear one. Magazine has storage compartments it for sight tool oil & ammo. Only thing other than the charging handle location I didnt like was the magazine is held in cheaply with brittle plastic spring like pieces front and back.Read full review

M4-117

Have owned several pump up rifles.
Believe they are better than spring, for accuracy.
Believe that this gun will be a good one to start a young man out with.

M4 - .177 product eval.

I watched a review on You Tube prior to making my purchase that highly recommended the pellet rifle. I was very pleased when I received it. Very good value and it operates flawlessly. I can't wait to do some target shooting with my kids.

It is ok for a 12 year old .

felt like it was cheaply made and did not function well at all. I expected something better for the price.
