Good quality replacement that doesn't break the bank.

Craftsman openers are expensive and the LiftMaster is a great alternative. My garage opener is 8 years old, and that's how long it took for one of my remotes to fall apart. I did not want to pay $45 for a spare remote, so I bought the LiftMaster, and I like the quality and it weighs a bit more too. I would definitely recommend this. I just might buy another one to replace my other Craftsman remote that will eventually break.Read full review

Easy to pair but short range

I like that the remote came with a battery and instructions to pair it to my garage door opener. I didn't like that the remote has very short range. It is shorter than another identical remote that I already had. Maybe 20 feet. Maybe the battery is dead? I will try replacing it.Read full review

great product, & value

I install a lot of these in my business & this is a great product, works with pretty much all garage door operators. Real easy to program & is a great price on here (Ebay)compared to big box stores.

Normal Sears product - effective

Standard product. Haven't had problems with Sears garage door opener remotes, until I needed this to replace one that died. Multiple others have survived over the years though.

Good experience

The garage door opener worked perfectly after programming and already had batteries included. Good value.

Good value for the price

WORKS OK, but...
The electronics inside are of a newer design than the original. Range is less than the old design and if it's in my pocket (therefore up against my body) it will usually not work even if I'm standing in front of the garage door - but works fine if I take it out of pocket. This was never an issue with the original design.

Overall:
Good value for the price. Remotes purchased from Craftsman are probably exactly the same design as this one and will cost 2-3X.

Works just like the original remotes and at a great price.

We needed a couple of remotes for other cars and these work just like the originals that came with the garage door. Getting the originals, which are now discontinued, were outrageously expensive if you could find them and these work great for a great price. Would definitely purchase again.Read full review

Great Buy

Our old ones simply wore out after 12 years, so I found these and ordered a pair. Quick and easy to change the batteries and took maybe a minute to program both of them. I'm happy!

Works as advertized

Nice looking remote. A little heavy on my Keychain but I suppose that means good quality. I only needed it for one garage door. I thought it allowed a code, but it doesn't. Instead it links one number for up to 4 garage door or gate openers. I have the coolest garage remote in the household. Read full review
