A bit bulky but it does its job quietly & saves hassle of installing liquid cooling external pumps
This is perfect for the 8th gen Core i7 3.7GHz CPU , it never gets hot ! only slightly warm & that's with intensive gaming on my sons new PC .
It came with additional fan from previous owner & it just needed a dusting down with hoover prior to fitting , but all in all a recommended product.
Very low noise too, even from both fans running together , they create a wave of air to the rear chassis fan out the back.
Make sure you do your measurements as this is enormous , but great :)
Just Remember to place both fans so they draught together (>> or <<) (not >< or <>) otherwise they will fight against each other and will defeat the object of twin cooling.Read full review
Perfect match for AMD FX 8350 CPU
If you're buying an AMD FX chip, then get the basic chip without cooler and then buy this cooler. The stock cooler that comes with the FX chip is useless - it's too small and therefore runs very fast & loud.
I researched this cooler beforehand and read good things about it. It's very well made and if you follow the instructions, it's not too hard to fit. Just take it slow. It is however a big beast of a cooler and therefore only fits in full width cases - even then it only just clears the side panel. The placement of RAM chips can sometimes be a problem but it's perfectly fine to fit the fan on either side.
Considering my PC sounded like a jet engine before with the stock cooler, this cooler is simply purring. You can tweak the idle speed in the BIOS of most motherboards. My ASRock defaults to running at level 10 at idle. You can hear the fan at the speed (it's not annoying though) - and it'll get the CPU temperature down to about 35C when idle. I tweaked my BIOS to run at level 3 when idle and you can't hear it at all over the graphics card and PSU fan.
Even when you flat line all eight cores on an AMD FX 6350, the fan hardly breaks into a sweat. As I type this, I'm compressing a large video file using 7-Zip configured with the BZip2 format which allows 16 threads to run at once. It's flat lined the CPU so it's working at full tilt. The CPU is up to 58C but the fan is quiet at 1622RPM. If you tried that with the stock cooler you'd have to shout to hear yourself think as the fan would run at >6,500RPM plus it would struggle to keep the CPU temperature below 65C.
Now if you're a serious overclocked, you might want to look elsewhere as this isn't top of the range cooling. But for normal use unclocked it's highly recommended!Read full review

A New and Exact Replacement for a Proven Product
I have used this model of CPU cooler for a number of years and only recently decided to replace it due to "CPU Cooler" errors occurring infrequently during BIOS and boot up on my PC.
There has been no re-occurrence of this error since instalment - I assume the fan motor was getting on a bit. Certainly notice the fan turning faster.
As stated, my original cooler has been faithful for more years than I care to remember and I have no hesitation in replacing it with same (but new) model.Read full review

Better cooling and quieter performance than a stock cooler without breaking the bank
Comes with extra clips to hold a second fan in a push/pull configuration.
Install processes is doable for even novice builders. instructions are in picture form and easy to follow.
Compared to stock Intel cooler it is quieter and shaves a few degrees off at idle and under load temps.
Used a separate thermal paste as the one supplied did not get good reviews.
If you have high memory modules to might have to remove them to install the fan as it sits very close. The other option is to ditch the supplied fan and buy a slimmer 15mm diameter fan although there are not many options.
Cooler itself is quite tall so check the dimensions on the CM website to ensure it will fit in the face adding a CM or so for the motherboard itself.
It was this or the Cryorig H7 but that is nearly twice the price and the reviews only indicate a few degrees better.Read full review
Great cooler
Nice, quiet, cooler and I CAN'T get my i3 3.3Ghz cpu temp above 47° running prime95 torture test and other programs at the same time.(I'm not a huge gamer, more music and 3d design).

Doesn't fit perfectly on a 2011 socket
It does fit well, but you have to chop some off to allow for the CPU hold down arms on a 2011 board (Asus X99 II

Decent cooler
Fitted easily and has reduced my system by a good 10 %. Noisier than expected but acceptable.

Fantastic Cooler
Can't believe how much this brought temps down from standard Intel cooler especially under load at least 20 degrees! And for £30! I would definitely recommend this product it's a no brainer bargain!

Solved my temp issues
Easy to install. Brought my CPU from 75c under load, to a cool 35c-40c. Also helped to imrove overall airflow in the case. Saw a drop in temps for gpu and ram.
