Monitor that helps me see text better

I liked this monitor as it calibrated itself and has performed well since I bought it. I can adjust the height and angle to suit my the way I see the screen through my spectacles. I didn't want a massive screen size blinding me with pure white web pages. I was happy with it for a previous purchase and bought the second monitor thanks to Ebay. So I've 2 PCs using these monitors instead of my previous smaller screens set to 800x600 displays. I now have the 1280x1024 setting instead.I use the gap between the monitor and the base for my external USB hard drive, yet there seems there's still extra free space for a second USB hard drive, too. I've placed the base upon my PC so as to use more deskspace. I've also chosen to use the white QWERTY keyboard for easier typing. While I prefer refurbished and secondhand purchases, I believe I'm saving money for more important purchases later on. In this case, the budget purchase wasn't something I felt I needed to use with any Ebay 20% discount deal. I paid the full price instead. I still feel I've done well with this type of PC monitor than any I've bought before. But if you can go for larger screen sizes and then use the Internet, you may wish to turn down the brightness because there are so many white pages out there!Read full review
