Feels solid and is a very nice dual purpose item. It is cane length but the ball on the top might be too big for average to smaller hands. I recommend getting a 1 inch tip to help you with making it "look" more like a walking stick/cane and is will keep the tip in much better shape for indoor/outdoor use AND cause less questions as to why you have it with you. Normal drug stores only carry the 3/8 size. I got mine at a medical supply company and actually cheaper than at a drug store. $1.89 plus tax. I keep one in my vehicle where I can reach it from the front seat and one by my door at home for home and neighborhood walks with my dog. I hope this helps someone!Read full review...

Alright so my review on this walkabout stick its well built great quality its all i would expect from coldsteel products ..

My walkabout stick is amazing everything is expect from coldsteel products .. sadly to bulky for walking around town with great for defense against a perp or bad animal .. In the end I would rather have bought the pistol grip city stick it's slimmer and better designed for walking around town .. but sadly I feel the pistol grip city stick should be cheaperRead full review...
