I had done some research on talking radar detectors and could not get one for less than $160 or so. This is what I was looking for and the refurbished product is functioning well! It does get false alerts for automatic doors, etc and does have the capability to turn off X/K/Ka warnings but I don't have a good knowledge or information about which bands police actually use now, so turning off alerts carries some risk!Read full review

was traveling down two lane hiwy. open with woods on both sides and radar went off a dozen times with laser and six times each with k and ka bands. no state-y anywhere ! no malls, traffic signs, or road hazards ! poor detection !Read full review

Bad radar detector

This radar detector will not stop beeping, it will beep even when the car inside the garage.
When I say never stop beeping, I mean it. NEVER, and multiple types of alarms.
