Classe ... Amazing!!!

The 2200i is an amazing piece of gear. This thing is an incredible value. It is a world class preamplifier + world class D to A converter + world class power amplifier all for the cost of a high quality amplifier.
It sounds amazing. It is incredibly flexible. It comes with a remote control that is rendered useless by the well designed phone app. This thing is incredible. I have a vintage pair of B&W 801’s that have never sounded so good in the 18 years I have had them. As you can see I am very pleased with this purchase.

Defective unit, practically absent US support

This is a premium stereo receiver that was very favorably reviewed by various audio publications.
It uses advanced digital technology and by all measures should be a good foundation for a stereo system. Seemed like an excellent fit for one of my setups.

The downside is that it as a discontinued model by a company that recently has changed owners
a couple of times. That includes a period when it was practically shut down.
Now it is in the process of being resurrected and is positioning itself even higher upmarket.
I do not know how reliable or competent technical support will be under these circumstances.
There is not even a support phone number in the US. Do research and decide for yourself.

I cannot share notes on sound quality - the brand new unit that I received does not produce output. Powers up, gives you a brief time to select input source before it goes to standby.
No sound is produced when using HDMI, optical, or USB inputs. Not even a little bit of noise...

Hence my rating and recommendation. In my encounter with this unit it amounted to nothing more than an expensive brick that is being packaged for return.

It's OK but not the brand's best

Overall sound quality and characteristics fall short of other "audiophile" grade integrated amplifiers. There are plentiful adjustments one can make in the digital domain on this integrated for frequency attributes, but the rather artifical soundstage and lack of depth makes this unit sub par to others.Read full review

Amazing Sound!

Powering a pair of Earthquake Titan Tigris' right now and couldn't be happier. I have always had a separate amplifier, but decided to go with an integrated amplifier this time around. No regrets, this receiver is phenomenal!Read full review

Classe Sigma 2200i is an outstanding value for any audiophile

I have previously owned a Classe Sigman 2200i and regretted letting it go. So glad to receive another one and at a great price too!. I am selling my Mark Levinson 585 integrated, not because the 2200i is better, but it comes so close in quality that there is no need to keep the 585.Read full review

One of the best integrated amps. for the price.

Great integrated amp. Powerful with 200w/channel at 8 ohm and doubles to 400w at 4 ohm. One of the very best class D amps. Powerful bass with defined yet smooth mids and treble. Highly recommended!
