This is our third one of this model. Works well, but your cat needs to be able to defend against intruder cats. If your cat's reasonably bright and you're wanting to stop it bringing in live prey, set it to Out Only - then your cat will learn to open it by banging it till it bounces open, get its nose or paw under and lift it to get in. Although it was the wrong size i was able to adapt and overcome. Would be a good idea if some suppliers would put the measurements rather than small medium and large
