Rugged, practical, at an easy price

All I want in a wristwatch is ... a wristwatch. I don't need a medical exam or data portfolio on my wrist; all I need is something that is light, easy to read, and tells time. Also it has a night-light, ultra confortable adjustable Velcro sports band, is water resistant (I can dunk it when I'm fishing) and fairly rugged. It's not a style piece, but it's not ugly, either. NEEDED a watch... This fit the bill.

This replaced a TIMEX with the backlighted dial face (EL) and this Casio just has an LED that (after the Timex) looks a bit GARISH and harsh.. However after living with it for a few weeks it's not quite as bad as I first thought (I'm getting used to it I guess". Also I would have liked to have a ROTATABLE Outer BEZEL... and a DAY / DATE display rather than just the DAY window.
But again, this is a nice watch, I just miss the features on my Timex. I'm still looking for "just the right mix of features", but I'm mostly happy with this watch.Read full review

I’ve worn this style and brand of watch for over ten years. I’ve worn it working, swimming, hunting, fishing, and to the office. It is the most durable watch I’ve ever owned.
