Very hard to hold image still whilst taking shot so thinking of getting a tripod.

Why fi??

Typical Cannon, well made and easy to use, except the WiFi connection. Very hit and miss, locks up when framing a shot, useless really and a shame, as I particularly wanted a WiFi facility.
Also very easy to switch the WiFi on when slipping the camera into a case.
If you want a good solid camera this is it.
