Excellent point and shoot camers

I used a Canon A700 camera for about 15 years because it had a great combination of features: viewfinder for good photo composition, strong zoom (6X), ergonomic design allows point and shoot using one hand, adequate resolution (6 meg) for enlargements, small size to fit in your pocket. It is an excellent camera for vacation point and shoot use but it has many built-in features for those who wish to get creative.

The Canon A720 represents an upgrade for me. It has all the great features of the A700 plus additional resolution (8 meg) and image stabilization. The latter feature is especially useful when you are using high zooms. It is a shame that none of the current line of Canon cameras has this combination of features so it is good that you can still find A700 series cameras on the used market.Read full review

A very good camera for the type.

Works fine it is just a older low mega pixel camera. Had any kind of manual adjustments you can think of. You can set it on full auto point and dhoot if you prefer.
