Always prefer to use genuine original Canon ink cartridges so the maintenance and ink level readouts on my printer are real. Does not mean I change cartridges until ink actually stops but acts as a great reordering reminder. These are in original sealed boxes, the price is right and they get delivered by the date stated. It is a no brainer buy the original for quality.
We all try to save money, but it usually comes at a cost. I've tried cheaper replacements. One lot ruined the printer. Others didn't last as long and were not of the same quality.
