Nice FD Zoom Lens

I picked this lens up for my mirrorless camera. It is a nice heavy duty quality unit. I advise buying the adapter with the integrated tripod mount. This is a fairly heavy lens, that may be a bit of a strain for your mirrorless camera. Super sharp

While the close focus distance isn't outstanding, the zoom lens is extremely sharp, and parfocal (maintains focus while zooming).

Very useful but not Parfocal

I'd heard rumors that this FD 35-105mm is parfocal, meaning that it keeps focus when zooming. I can confirm that my copy is not. It's a wonderful piece of glass. It's very useful and the range is GREAT for the price but it might not fulfill that magic cheep/parfocal video lens dream. its ok but...

Love the lens but the iris blades either are stuck or don't work. I've configured the mount in order to test the blades but they do not move. Little disappointed but I have it for a c100 so i will use the built in ND Filters to counter the iris.Read full review...
