Absolutely great image quality for low price. It would be nice to have a metal mount and some water resistant gasket in the mount but you can't have all for so little money!

Wide-angle zoom with no image distortion.
It extends my zoom rage down to 10mm making it easier to get everything into the frame in close-up rooms. Also there is no sign of image distortion as happens with fish-eye lenses.
