I wish I got it earlier

Owning a Canon mirrorless I looking for a native prime lens to produce good bokeh on portraits, however the only native that promises the result is EF-M 32mm f1.4 which is quite expensive.
Then I bought an adapter for EF lenses and the nifty fifty, which on a cropped sensor works like a 80mm, and with the wide aperture @ f1.8 my bokeh is superb! The lens is probably not the sharpest, and sometimes is a bit slow to focus when working with an adapter, but still I'm pretty happy with the job it does. Didn't try it on a DSLR.Read full review
