This is a genuine ink cartridge. However, it was already pre-opened and the ink was less than full. I only printed 5 pages of color and it was immediately gone. Don't get this unless you want to print only 5 pages of color. Read full review

The Canon PG-245 ink cartridge is of high quality and lasts for a reasonable amount of time. I sporadically print but go for a period of time without printing and have not had any issue with the Canon PG-245 drying out. Quality produce at a reasonable price on Ebay. Read full review

Canon printer great - ink is expensive

Not much to add. I buy cartridges for my daughter's printer (Brother brand) and they are 1/3 to 1/4 the price of these. For my next printer purchase this will be a criteria. In the meantime I refill these with some success. Refill 1 time pays for the price of the refill kit.
