Two-button version does not work

This Hydrolink has the two-button hydro-lock release mechanism. I don't know if it is a design flaw or if the purchased unit was dated and the locking mechanism material became stiff, but the two-button release mechanism would not release the bite-valve when squeezed rendering it unusable for swapping mouthpieces or connecting to another hose for filling purposes. If you need a hydrolink that works, I would look for the version with a single button release mechanism.Read full review

CamelBak Hydrolink Conversion Kit great replacements for older hydration units that either wore out or didn't come with them. It's great to be able to find these older stock new for they don't make them anymore and are discontinued at most outdoor retailers.
Yes, you can find the newer stuff, but they don't fit the older reliable equipment still out and in use by many former military that continue to use their gear outside the military.Read full review

Perfect, a must have for the CamelBak

This is perfect! Now you can drink from the CamelBak yourself or take the mouth piece off to pour for others. (No saliva "backwash") Snap on or off...very used friendly.

Great fit and value

I'm a wildland firefighter so hydration is very important to me -- a broken bite valve during a long shift would be horrible, if not dangerous. I used these to upgrade the bite valve of a large MSR hydration bladder I use for work. Bite valve conversion kit

Item is exactly as advertised, like with any new bite valve you need to separate the opening in the end of the bite valve. The end is VERY hard to disconnect from the valve half, maybe because it is new, will have to see if it becomes easier with use.Read full review

Still drips a tiny bit when closed. Not a big deal, but not perfect. Could just be mine. Also the quick disconnect for cleaning is really tough to get apart. But for the price, it is way better than what I had. I wouldn't pay much more for it. No issue with seller though. Read full review
