Not 100% sure about the LED but thats not why I bought it

Bought for a motorcycle as access to the battery is not that easy, fitted in a few mins and left bike to charge over night. When unplugged from the charger one of the three little LED lights up (actually flashes) - was as expected green in my case, however after just 12 hours it was flashing amber - so not really sure how accurate that is, perhaps the actual LED is draining the battery (that would be ironic) only time will tellRead full review

Faster and more secure charging point.

Used this to hardwire a charging point direct to the battery under the passenger seat, rather than the jumping point under the bonnet. However the leads are too short at 40cm. By the time you allow for the gap between the terminals it's difficult to get the connector to where you want it.
Was slightly easier to use under the bonnet of my Audi, however leads still too short and connector could not reach the opposite side of the engine bay, which is where the power point is in my garage.
Have the same problem with the Ctek extension cables being too short at 2.5m when the garage is full and need to charge on the driveway. Read full review

Attach the flylead connectors to the car battery !!

If you own a classic or special car that is stored or kept in a garage and not used very much the flylead terminals and not the standard connectors should be used with the CTEK charger. This means the battery car cover does not have to be removed every time the battery has to be charged.
No one tells you why the standard connectors should not be used as they are more trouble than they are worth !Read full review
