Great little heater

Excellent little heater, good value and quite easy to fix. We have a smallish bathroom and one bar gets it warm, while two makes it really snug. Would have given it 5 stars, but when the heating element failed we discovered that it can't be replaced - so we had to buy another heater. Went for the same one again, though as it suited our purpose - and the holes were already in the right place!Read full review

Cheap but fugly design and awful to fit.

No effort put into the design for ease of fitting. Cannot access the electrical terminals without removing the heater from the mounting base whereupon loose parts - a ball bearing and spring fly out.<br>Re-assembly need two nuts to be glued in place otherwise they fall out with no access.

Why does a predominantly white appliance have a ugly black rubber cable attached. This should be white too.

Unatttractive warning information is printed onto the front of the heater. looks appalling

Good product with minor installation problems.

A good product and well made. Two minor problems arose in installing it. No paper template for the mounting holes was included as referred to in the text. It was difficult getting a long blade screwdriver to reach the screws in the mounting holes as the screwdriver fouled the body of the heater even after slackening off the screws holding the body. This made the screwdriver work at an angle to the screw instead of straight on.Read full review

Bad design and dangerous assembly

This is badly designed and made. The mounting instructions require a minimum room right of 2.53m uk standard is 2.4m with a minimum of 2.1. the supply lead was faulty, the insulation was not properly striped and the contact screws not tight enough to cut through it so the connection were just by lose wire ends touching. Dangerous. It is Diddley to fit, as the heater body gets in the way of the fixing screws. The pull cord fell of 4th time it was used. It was fitted with a half hitch, a decent k ot or a crimp is needed. It is difficult to refit as the switch pull leaver is totally inaccessible without a full strip down. The design of the heater angle set is not strong enough so when the switch pull cord is used the heater pulls to the full down position.Read full review

A good value bathroom heater

The heater arrived well packed and with clear installation instructions. I fixed it to the wall and connected to an existing fused spur unit in 30 minutes.
If you are able to drill holes in the wall accurately and can use a screwdriver competently you will have no issues installing. Mine came without a drilling template but I made one quickly and easily from a piece of stiff paper, pushing a pencil through the fixing holes.
A small amount of common sense is helpful e.g. slackening the pivot screws before installation to allow the unit to be tilted for access to the fixing screws and tightening afterwards so that the unit remains angled as required.
If installing in a bathroom or adjacent to plumbing you need to be aware of the wiring regulations regarding safety. Installing to an existing fused spur should be no problem.
The unit has been in use by the family every day for a few weeks since installation with no problems. The two stage heat control is useful to save electricity when full output is not required.
I cannot fault this unit - it appears well made and does its job.

A nice wall heater

For value it is unbeatable.
The only slight strangeness if I am trying to be specific; is that with the two heater elements two click positions would seem enough, but the three clicks give first bar on its own, then second click is the second bar on its own, then click three gives both together?

BUY IT WITH CONFIDENCE.

Not amazed, It's the third I now have in use. First one in the bathroom, second in my work room and third is for my hot tub area. It's safe, quick, space saving, easy to install, and I could go on for ever about it, but I think you got the idea,
Best wishes
Graham.

Great little heater.

Really pleased with this heater, and amazed at the amount of heat it throws out. Not using it in bathroom but on a wall in an office and it really makes a difference surprisingly. Two heat settings 600 & 1200 so easy to control.Read full review

High class, low cost wall heater

I bought and fitted one of these heaters 12 years ago and one of the quart elements has just failed. That one cost me £25. I recon I got my money's worth so I bought another one. Externally everything is identical. The wiring inside the new one is better with the enclosure being a higher quality and safer.. For the £28 I paid this time I am well please and would recommend it. Mine is fitted in my bathroom.Read full review
