Great and easy to use gps

I love this lil gps. I have two of them. I hunt a lot of public land and usually have to walk a long ways to be secluded, which makes it hard to flag a trail. Lightweight, easy to use, dependable

My husband hunts and fishes and picks berries. He bought one of these years ago, and since then his compass is just a backup. His Bushnell BackTrack is easy to use, easy to see. He can mark where he left the truck, and walk, or take the boat, right back at the end of the day.

Unfortunately, he left the batteries in over the winter and they leaked. Couldn't get it open to change the batteries. Trying to buy a new one, we saw they don't make them anymore. So very pleased to find it here on eBay!

Later we did manage to get the old one open, but damaged the seal removing the white leaked stuff. It will probably work again, haven't tried it yet.Read full review

Lost without it.

I was a bit concerned last week hunting partridge in the forest. I got turned around and nighttime was closing in. I had no choice but to rely on this GPS. It keeps track on how far away you are from your destination, when I was walking the wrong way the distance meter would get larger in number , when I headed the correct way the Bushnell range showed the lesser number which is the way I chose, lo and behold I came upon my destination which was my truck. A night spent in the forest would not be fun, I didn't even have any matches for a fire. I have several but this one you have to really push the flag button hard, once I finally got it to set the spot and know that I know you have to push it that hard then it works fine.
