This is a very nice little item, and great value.
My only moans about it are these:- the unit really is very bright and tends to light up a dark room even on its dimmest setting, and the alarm volume when in DAB mode will not set quieter than level 4 which makes for quite a loud wake up.

It is a good DAB radio but the light in the night on bedside is too bright for me on the lowest setting. Thought the battery would operate it if it was not plugged into mains but apparently it only stores the time so dissapointed about that !

Only complaint radio comes on a bit to loud can't memorise the volume setting. Rather than gentley wake you tends to shout in your ear. Radio and clock work well.
