Excellent British made lock

Heavy duty construction and well made. In my case I was unable to fit the lock centrally to our up and over door due to its construction (bracing ribs and struts), so had to offset it by 20cm. The coach bolts had to be cut down to avoid a head hazard with the door up. The extra weight of the lock, on the bottom of a well lubricated door, can cause it to lose position unless fully raised. Excavation of a 150mm3 hole in the garage floor, to accommodate the lock tube, was quite challenging and required the use of an SDS drill with chisel. I’m very pleased with the extra security the lock provides, although I’m not sure about the yellow finish which might advertise that you have something worth stealing.Read full review...

Peace of mind

This is the best kit I’ve seen for securing roller shutter doors. Several have been jacked up nearby, fitted these in an afternoon, used 2 to ensure the door was properly protected. Easy enough to fit, worst bit was drilling the holes.
