Great bang for the buck!!!

Is the Bugera V22 Infinium a Marshall or a Fender - no! - BUT it IS sort of a clone of the early Fender tweed amps. It has a very nice clean channel and a built in reverb that when tweaked properly can get some very nice sparkling and chimey tones. It also has an overdrive channel that ( again when tweaked properly ) can get some very nice smooth lead guitar tones. This amp will NOT get those ultra-dinosaur death metal sounds ( so if you are in the market for those tones, look elsewhere! ) - also the Bugera is not intended ( I don't think ) to be a gigging amp - not enough power unless you mike it - but I got my Bugera used and in dead mint condition for $300........... so for a practice amp that sounds REALLY good in both channels in my home practice space, I don't think that I could've done a whole lot better. I chanced across this amp at a local music store. I tried it out versus some nice Marshalls, Fenders, Hughes & Kettners, etc. and I kept asking my wife "Which one sounds better?" - she pointed to the Bugera every time ( and she was right! ) The Bugera also comes with a channel switching foot pedal that is all metal and very durable. This amp is NOT flimsy nor cheaply constructed!!!Read full review

A bargain at this price!

I have been playing this amp daily for almost 2 months now and am very happy with the versatility and quality sounds.
I had forgotten how good a tube amp sounds as the last one I had was a Fender Bassman and that was back in the 70’s, since then it has been solid state amps.
I read a lot of reviews before purchasing the v22 and found that many people were changing tubes and even the speaker , but I have not found that necessary.
I did purchase a set of JJ tubes and will use those when the stock tubes die but until then , the stock units keep sounding better and better as they break in.
All in all, I am very pleased with my purchase and highly recommend this amp, it is a steal at this price!

Buyers V22 Combo

Powerful little amp. I love the tone. Has plenary of punch and is suitable for small venues. I have many amps over the years and was very impressed by the warm tube sounds I got. I also like the smoothness of the controls. Excellent warrantee.Read full review

Great amp at a great price.

Excellent guitar amplifier with soothing warm clean tones and excellent distortion channel with plenty of options to obtain the tone you want. Also sounds great behind a distortion pedal or sound processor. Exceptional sounding amp for the price.Read full review

Amp

Didn’t have much tone out of the box. So, I put in a celestian g12h and a set of JJ tubes in the amp. Exactly what it needed! Now it’s a beast! May want to pair it with a mojomojo or tweed 57 pedal for some great overdrive and more EQ ability.Read full review

fender or marshall

I have owned both fender and marshall , this bugera chinese amp can give you the sound of both. I am totally pleased with the power and the great tones you can squeeze out of this amp even without peddles. The price is a fantastic deal compared to fender and marshall or any decent tube amp.I love that the tubes bias them selves so there is money saved there also. It has plenty of power for my needs. I think many musicians will be happy with this amp if you can try one go for it you wont be disappointedRead full review

Awesome

Pros: great tone. If you like that vintage bluesy tone, this works great with my gretsch electromatic jet.

Cons: It has a slight shrill tone for me especially with the boost. I hear that goes away as the speaker breaks in. I bought an eq pedal which fixed it, since I like lower frequencies. Theres also a slight Rattle at high volume, I need to inspect it with someone else playing to find it.

For under $300, cant imagine close to compete. Plus aesthetic wise, its gorgeous.

a little heavy, but needs to be, for the loads of great power,& super sound it produces.

when advertised. I was told this manufacturers refurbished amp with it"s full 3 year warranty might have some slight scratches, or scuff marks on it. well, not only was the amp pristine, (appeared, brand new) but even the included foot pedal, still had the thin veneer plastic on it, just like when you buy a brand new item. Fantastick. thats 5 stars in my book. thanks, D.B.Read full review
