Brunner Flat Water Hose - 15m

Great idea but seems quite brittle.

New to motor-homing so learning as we go. Needed a food grade water hose of decent length and saw this. It does exactly what it says it does in that you don't need to unwind it to use it which is great, it has a thin profile so takes a wee while to fill the tank but as we're on holiday there's no rush. It. Does however feel a little flimsy and potentially brittle so I would suggest time be taken with it but only time will tell.

Not user friendly to wind/unwind

The reel is not user friendly with a sharp edge to one side of the handle . looking at the design you would think its better suited to wall mounting rather than mobile hand held use.

Not quite excellent

Great value and clever hose design. Not quite a flat hose. It has enough of a profile to allow water to flow while it is still on the reel, yet it is flat enough to save space. The reel is made from what appears to be rather brittle plastic, so it requires careful handling. It would have been helpful if it came with a narrow nozzle that would fit in the water tank filler on the side of the motor home. More experienced motor home users would have noticed the problem, but as a first time user of a motor home, I thought "great, I have a fresh water hose, I'm off". At the camp site, I had to pass the hose through the window and into the larger opening on the top of the water tank.Read full review

It works well. Packs away easily and is nice and long. The plastic is a little flimsy so need to take time winding it in and be careful but it was ok. I would buy it again

flat hose worth a try.

This is my second purchase, the hose is ideal for the job,but it cannot be repaired which is a shame (not only because of the price), the reel although flimsy is more than capable of ripping hose to bits which happened to mine. The quality of the hose made me give it another try.Read full review

Compact for camping

The hose itself seems to be of good quality but the reel is flimsy & quite brittle. Care will be needed to protect the hose being punctured by the reel itself. Hence the 4 star rating
