Nice addition to TV

This Bose Solo 5 sound bar sounds great, it makes a big difference while watching TV , The one issue we still are having is setting up the universal remote, the code for our tv didn't work. If you are looking for heart pounding bass you should look into a different model.Read full review

I feel you can usually trust a factory refurbished piece pretty well. Bose is no exception. Got this for my room, just so I could hear the TV over the AC in the window, wouldn't have to turn it up so loud. This bar sounds fantastic even at low volume with great base and clear sound.

Bose performance at a great price

Quality sound, vast improvement over TV speakers. Dialogue filter works very well making conversations much easier to understand especially if actors have accents. Only small criticism is that the necessary digital coax cable required to connect the sound bar to the TV was not included. An optical digital cable WAS included but our TV does not have that capability. Otherwise we are pleased.Read full review

Works great when taking Optical Output from TV

Added this to my Roku TV in Family Room and sound is so much better than what comes out of TV. Was unable to connect it to Pioneer Sound System or Samsung AV System. Has to connect to optical output on TV which when using an AV System is disabled on Sony TV's, Works great as only speaker system for TV, My other TV/AV Systems are surround sound but once connected to a Roku TV directly every sound was enhanced with the Bose System.Read full review

Long time Bose consumer.

This soundboard is wonderful for the new TV's with crappie speakers. We could hardly hear our new Samsung TV, the dialog was hardly audible, hence why I ordered this Bose sound bar. The price is amazing!! Don't expect this sound bar to sound like your Bise stereo speaker, it won't. A little disappointing because I wanted to listen to music on this sound bar, you won't get that beautiful Bose sound playing music on it. Very disappointing for me, but to be able to hear the TV dialog is amazing.

I don't recommend for a Bose speaker the sound is not there.

The product is nice, well designed, but the sound is not what was expected. Base is not good compared to other systems. Base definitely need to be better, if you some theater sound I do not recommend this Bose unit.Read full review

Great Speaker for Hearing Difficulty
