It's heavy and particularly when fully extended, it's hard work. As the title says , it does the job but it is very heavy and somewhat unwieldy. I can’t use it for too long as my arms start to ache,

Using the Shoulder Harness helps enormously!

Well balanced as long as you use the adjustable shoulder harness. Without the harness it becomes very unwieldy. I could not do more than a short spell without the harness. With it I could carry on more than 5 times longer. I mention this to be helpful because a couple of negative comments refer to its poor balance and difficulty in using it for any length of time.
