Nutsedge

After a little over 48 hours the nutsedge was turning brown and falling over. And the lawn grass wasn't affected by the treatment. I used roughly 3 oz per gallon in my sprayer. This stuff works really good.Read full review

I am in search of a better way to kill Sedge grass permanently..... HELP

No..... I called Bonide company in NY..... because I could not understand the amount of product to use
in (1) gallon of water..... I was told that one bottle (160z) had to be used in 3 gallons of water to be effective... I have a 20 gallon sprayer, with a motor that sprays about 20 feet and puts out a lot of spray...
I would go through that 3 gallons of spray in about 2 minutes....... and no possible way could I spray my acreage of about 5 acres in that short amount of time.....effectively .... So, not impressed with the directions I received ..... to spray my 5 acres , it would cost me several hundred dollars worth of product in order to be effective.... There has to be a better solution, but don't know what that would be. I do have an effective, less expensive spray, but it does not kill the roots, and the weed returns in about a week.
What to do ?????

Good stuff.

I tried to buy this at HD. Turns out, it's not available in CA. Couldn't find it anywhere in town. Weedman wants $50 for a treatment. This costs about $25 for more than enough to treat the spots of sedge in my yard. Works as advertised. Spray on sedge, yellow and withering within a day or two. Did not kill my tall fescue yard.Read full review

This stuff works great on nut sedge. Apply and then reapply in a couple of weeks. Will need into next year to rid the infestation.

Trying to be rid of crabgrass

The pint bottle (16 oz. ) will not make three gallons of spray as the directions call for 5.5 oz. per gallon. It is no more effective then Ortho Weed-B-Gon with crabgrass control . The Ortho product is about 9 bucks at Lowe's or Home DepotRead full review

It really did a good job taking care of some weeds in my lawn that I’ve been struggling with. Worked well on nutsedge problem.Didn’t bother the turf around it at all.

Good Product for Lawncare

It should be sprayed on as a fine mist on the Sedge grass. It is best to use a binder such as Stick On mixed with it so that it adheres to the grass best. The longer you can leave it on without watering the grass the better, but as a minimum it should be on ten hours or more so it has time to do it's job. Seems to work great; I recommend it.Read full review

Best I've used.

Tried Sedge Hammer last year with moderate results. Sedge is showing better results and faster.
Also easier to mix.
