Simple to use blowtorch.

Nice little blowtorch. It does need to warm up, as instructed, until the flame is stable otherwise flaring occurs. The turndown is not huge, even at the minimum setting it is a relatively large flame not a tiny flame, so would not be best suited for really fine jewellery type work. Good bit of kit and at a good price. I ordered the blow torch plus eight tins of butane. This is a very useful tool. I have used it on a number of jobs and one gas canister lasts a long time. One job was to strip the old paint of my drive gates (big solid gates) I only used 3/4s of one canister of gas, as I say one canister goes a long way. Easy to follow instructions, although I have never had a torch like this before and found it a little unnerving when they said if you can smell gas there could be a problem. Used it to caramelise the top of creme brule it was fabulous, never been able to do it so fast before.
