A great product but difficult to wire. Probably just me.

Excellent safe device for outside use, but and there is a but here and why I gave it 4stars and not 5 stars and the reason is the terminal wiring holes they have to be the same diameter as the item wiring,ie pump. filter box, even when you twist the copper wire ends and when you have opened up the terminals fully with your screwdriver. I am not an Electrician but you do not need to be one with the excellent instructions but boy it took me 4 hours to successfully and safely wire my pump and filter.Read full review

Brilliant idea and very well made.

It is very easy to set up there is no fiddling about this is because the circuit board comes away from the casing.. and the casing slide out of its holding wall plate so it in three parts brilliant idea......... so if you wish to do any work on it you can just take it off the post or wall and do it.Read full review

For a switch it is expensive

I am replacing Blagdon switch which I purchase 8 years ago. Water did not enter switch. But the circuit was burnt out. You can smell as we open the switch. I am hoping this one will last longer then 8 years.

Switch in the right direction.

I bought this to replace my old Blagdon powersafe weatherproof electrical switch box garden fish pond. I was very happy with my original seitch box ,so when I needed a new one. I purchased the same and its even better than the original one. Much easier to connect with the removable circuit board. I have arthritis and this makes it so much better. well made, works well, but you have to leave some loose cable so you can dismount it to install other cables

I would have preferred it if it was screw together from the front instead of having to dismount it to get at the screws through the back to open it up to add cables for other installations.
