Vangelis Blade Runner Is An OK Choice of Film Music

This CD has some good tracks but it does not reflect Vangelis' best work. The last piece "Tears in Rain" is the best. It has Rutger Hauer's sad monologue about his life experiences as seen through the eyes of his character Roy Batty. Reportedly Hauer amended and ad-libbed some parts of it. Add this to your collection if you are a big fan of this film. For better examples of Vangelis' music I recommend 1492: Conquest of Paradise and The Bounty.Read full review

Whether You know allready or You don't every note on every track of original Bladerunner's film score, You must hear that. Unforgetable experience of so recognisable, but elevated here to futuristic Hi-Tec, Vangelis only style. Movie became let's say, iconic, not only for many Sci-Fi admirers, but for Me very personally.
