Loud and clear

The Blackstar FLY-3 is the most you can get for the money. Before the Blackstar came out, all of the mini amps had a shrill, thin tone when cranked up but this one plays loud and clear.
The NU>X MINI is the only amp in this size that sounds better and it's only slightly better and almost twice as much $$.
I have played them all, extensively. don't hesitate to buy a Blackstar.
My favorite feature is the effects. You can easily dial in a "Slapback" effect that reminds me of the Scotty Moore tone on the old Elvis records.

Small amp with big sound.

Amazing that something so small can provide a really big sound. Works great with my Bass Uke. The controls provide a variety of adjustments.

I wish it had a handle or carrying strap. It's so portable but it needs to travel in a bag.

The fit is a bit too tight but I was able to get the amp in. It’s really hard to take out though. The case is well designed just needs to be a little bit wider to be able to fit the amp without forcing it in. I sanded mine a bit so I could fit it easier. Overall great case.Read full review

Awesome portable amp

I can't believe how great this little portable amp sounds with just using 6 regular "AAA" batteries. The Marshall MS-4 couldn't hold a candle to it. This is a serious "on the go" practice amp. I'm glad I took the chance and bought this amp.Read full review
