I painted an outside door that had white undercoat on it already and the blue paint needed two coat's to hide the white underneath. Also, painting on a hot sunny day will make the blue paint bubble-up as it dries. These can be wiped off after it all dries however, so paint only on a dull day maybe.
The overall colour is ideal for painting your Tardis, as it is the right shade.. You may need to apply three coat's to get the result you want, so order enough to do the job. One tin should do three full size shed doors (two coat's each)Read full review...

The paint is quite thick and even with a good quality paint brush it was tough to spread and so a paint roller would probably be better. It has a strong odour so best painting with Windows open. I used this on a bedroom door and window frame both still sticky after 3 days which was disappointing as I had to wait that long to second coat it!
