Midas PreAmps and midi interface....what more could you ask.

I spent the last 2 weeks in MO recording an album for 2 bands. I love my 404. It worked great and didn't fail me at all. It is easy to setup and use. The quality is amazing. The sounds I got out of that box rival anything I have used in studio. For under $100.00 it is one of the best deals going.Read full review

This interface does exactly what I need ...

This interface does exactly what I need and more. Can't get a better deal on an audio interface with 4 xlr inputs and 4 output tracks!

Works right out of the box!

I have an Audiobox USB and have been having a difficult time getting the drivers to work with Cubase 8, it worked fine on an old PC but not on my Windows 7 or 10. Tried multiple drivers with no luck. Also have a Steinberg UR22 which works flawlessly, purchased the Behringer as an experiment to replace the Audiobox and hopefully get 4 inputs for more flexibility.
Wow! This interface sounds great, worked immediately with the latest driver downloaded from their website.
Would absolutely recommend! Plus it has midi in and out which I use with Kontakt for a great setup.

Where is the DAW? What's up with the static?

The whole set up is good overall. The only issues I am having is setting up the DAW and the static in the headphones. The instructions on what the DAW is, where it is, and how to install it are just not there. I'm not really sure how to access it. I have been on the website downloading drivers and I am able to record. The problem is that I have no abilities for effects, so I can not alter delay or tune the sound of the tracks I am recording.

The headphones have static in them when turned to slightly moderate volume levels, even when the microphone level is all the way down so I know its not coming from there. I have tried by passing the mixer and by passing the interface, using each independently, and the static remains with either setup. I can get some of it out by turning the low and high levels all the way down on the mixer and adjusting various level controls for volume through the headphones but even then when i turn the sound up I hear the static. It's only in the background though. When I play and sing into the mic, the sound overpowers the static some and it is less noticeable. Not really sure what to do.

This is an amazing interface from Behringer

Whisper quiet interface with easy to install drivers. Works seamlessly with Ableton. Purchased mine for just under $100. Get one today. I upgraded from a 2x2 Tascam, which was good, but the Behringer is hands down superior. I usually don't buy, let alone endorse Behringer but this is a sweet product.Read full review

Wonderful

This interface sounds like one of the big expensive units. It has padding capability. There is absolutely no delay. It's the bestoneI've ever owned and I have 8 other interfaces that cost me A LOT more than this purchase. Buy this with no fear. It's wonderful... It's made of solid steel and the headphone jack is very loud.... There is nothing I can say bad about this mic. I gave it a 4 vs a 5, because there is no such thing as a "Five Star Rating."Read full review

exactly what you expect

It does exactly what you expect it to and does it very well. Documentation could be more detailed, explaining how the driver works, how to tweak settings, how to select ASIO, etc. It's easy enough, not much to change, but more words instead of pictograms would be good. Audio is crisp and clean.Read full review

Wow!!!

I needed a D/A converter so I could do some drum covers and man this thing delivers! 24 bit 192khz processing with no hiss!!! I could not be more pleased especially for the price! I would highly recommend this for anyone wanting to do some recording with their PC and I really like the tracktion software that comes with it for free, you do have to download it separate but that was no big deal, was up and running in no time with windows 10. This thing rocks!!! I also like the fact that when I export, my video editing software can only except up to 24 bit 96khz processing so it's very nice that you can change that when you export your audio. Highly recommended!!!Read full review
