EASY STARTING,GOOD POWER.

Its my second Baumer - Ag and I reckon its a great saw for domestic firewood cutting, both saws leak a little bar oil but other than that they seem to be fine. Plenty of power and easy to start, good bar and chain. For the price they are a fantastic saw.Read full review

Absolutely amazing

What can i say... at the very start of owning my ag pro chainsaw i made a brass worm gear for the oil pump after that 6 years of loyalty before I gave it away to my brother.
No this 82cc is an absolute beast.

I'm telling you this is a bloody good saw and Edison's have looked after me. This saw takes husqvarna parts so you could go to a lawnmower store, tell the bloke behind the counter trying to tell you that Chinese saws are impossible to get parts for to shut up, and get roughly husqvarna 372 parts for it. I'm sure this saw has a bigger piston but the rest is pretty much bolt on components and it's all solid. Ebay is the first place to go for parts though honestly I don't regret this saw and I do uploads to YouTube with updates on it.

It outran and put performed one of the new Stihl MS661 Magnums so I knew there and then that this was a good purchase.Read full review

Perfect for price

For the price it is perfect. I’m not a pro tree looper but this big boy cut up the biggest trees in my block. Cut a tree 800 mm wide diameter. The bar might bend a bit and not cut straight but it cuts. .if you don’t like then go spend $2k on a one.
My neighbor is a lawn mower man and had one. He was my review.

Issues from the start

Problems starting sent the saw back after arguing with supplier over who pays postage had to send a screen shot from ACCC before they agreed.
Saw came back with no e start but who cares not that hard to pull, runs but cuts out after a good rev. Same as the other AG saw i bought cuts curved even with new chain no problem on same wood with my echo so its not technique.

Fantastic Chainsaw for the price.

I would never have thought of buying a chainsaw on Ebay until I heard great reviews about this brand. This is my first petrol chainsaw so I chose one with the longest bar. It was simple to put together and started first time. I used it all day and the only issue I found was the metal part that bites into the wood gets bent easily.

Improved but not perfect

This is a good saw, will work hard all day. The larger air filter is a definite improvement but the chain tension system has gone backwards. Can't understand why Baumr-Ag have changed the bar gauge from 063 to 058. Overall, excellent value for money.Read full review

Great value

You can’t beat this saw dollar for dollar, I’ve got a couple of smaller chainsaws (both Stihl) & these are great quality & very reliable. I wanted a 24” for cutting large logs, didn’t really want to invest in a new Stihl or Husqvuarna so thought I’d try the less expensive Baumr-Ag. Went like a champion straight out of the box, done a couple of days work so-far & hasn’t missed a beat. Lacks the high-rev grunt of the Stihl saw when the bar is buried deep but hey, for around $250 for a 24” chainsaw who cares!

Value for Money

Excellent product for the money. Does need a tune up as it is not tuned properly out of the box. But once tuned it is an absolute weapon. Up there with the big name saws at 1/10th of the price. Have not had one issue with it and have cut over 10 cubes of wood over the last year.Read full review
