Baumr AG 82 SX
Cut a huge gum tree stump into fire wood no problems. After a few tanks of fuel I re-tuned the carby (watch vids on youtube on how to do this), which increased its power. Clean chain bar groove out every 2 hours of cutting to help keep chain oiled. The only thing that has broken was the pull cord which is an easy fix. Worked better than the Stihl chainsaw that I hired from Coates Hire for 90 dollars which couldnt do the job..Read full review

Ag 82cc chainsaw
I'm pleasently surprised with this chainsaw
On receiving saw I proceeded to assemble it
Filled it with oil and petrol and 3rd pull on starter
And it fired right up
Have tried a few trial cuts and this saw has plenty of power
Value wise for the money that this saw costs
I don't think you'll find a better value for money saw on the market👍👍👌Read full review

Great
For the price. WHAT A DEAL. I didn’t buy it to look good I brought it to cut wood, cut down a 30inch tree with no effort, cut slabs of it no worries at all. Have video proof on first tree. Starts easy as.Read full review

Cheap and cheerful
The Baumer ag 82cc chain saw is a reasonable quality basic tool.
Some minor issues when it was first used have been resolved but only time will tell how reliable and durable it is.
It cuts well but is a little heavy to use, cutting position is important when using the saw.
It is hard to beat for the price, when a similar premium saw would cost aroud $1200- $1500.
I use it for fire wood.
Overall, I'm happy so far.Read full review

Great saw a beast
82 cc chain saw is a beast . Doesn't loose power when pushing through a large log and starts easy with the decompression button . Chain looses it's sharpness a little to quick but otherwise great

Good powerfull machine, great value.
I've had this SX82 for a little while now. Just cut a 10m long, 20" dia, dry red gum log into 300mm lengths, only had to stop for fuel. This has the power and balance to match it's name brand look-alike, except I could buy almost 10 of these for the price of one of them. FYI, it weighs 10Kgs wet. Problems:- It came with a 22" bar cover? I'll get over it. Oil tank cap has no seal, made one for it, no issue.Read full review

Not a great start....
Saw arrived without the throttle cable attached from the trigger to the throttle control inside saw. It ran fine but couldn't actually use it. Have had to fit own cable to make it operate. Poor quality control out of the factory, time will tell how it goes actually cutting.Read full review

Lightweight and Ease of Use
Very similar in balance and construction to my 82cc Husky. Need an affordable 2nd saw and surprised by how well it cuts and balanced. Only issue I have so far is the log grabber/teeth made from lightweight material and need to constantly straighten including chain guide roller. The online manual not worth the paper its written on. Too vague and does not resemble saw in any way.. Unable to purchase parts eg, replacement air filter, log grabber..... but still a very cheap saw for the amount of wood I've cut so far....impressive,Read full review

sx82
i have owned 2 baurm ag saws the sx72 wich was 2nd hand and ok but always sucked dust into the carby via the air filter and choked it then finally died. but the sx82 is a much better design specially the airfilter no more dust. plenty of power. easy to start. well balanced. easy to use and reliable.Read full review

Great chainsaw I would recommend to anyone
I cut a lot of timber and this chainsaw has been awesome, starts 2nd pull every time, I had a Stihl before and this is as good if not better and way easier to start, I wouldn't waste money on a high end chainsaw unless your in that kind of business.
ive cut up a log at least 1m x 1m and it ate through it easily and cut 5 massive trees down to log splitting size in just a few hours.
My advice to anyone buying a chainsaw buy a spare chain and always keep them sharp also go for the big one because it's so much quicker.
It took me a month to buy this chainsaw as I was skeptical but now happy I did so I 100% recommend it.Read full review
