Probably the best animated series every made

This is the first of the Batman: The Animated Series and is undoubtedly the best, being the closest depiction of the Batman we know from the DC comics. It's dark, moving and beautifully crafted and picks up on many of the storylines from the comics of the 70s. Every character is portrayed fully and there are storylines here that are both dramatic and touching. Never has there been a better animated series providing entertainment for both adults and children alike. I was a fan of this in 1992, when my children introduced me to it, one Saturday morning, and I remain transfixed by it. Excellent 1990s animated series

This box set features the first 28 episodes of the animated series of Batman that was shown on Saturday mornings on Whats Up Doc on ITV back in 1992. The episodes are engrossing, nostalgic and the animation still looks good today considering its now 25 years old. It brings back great memories of watching it when I was a kid.Read full review
