Old time varnish too tough for it
Didn't touch the old varnish, had to clean it off and sand instead. Haven't used it on paint so it may perform better....or not.

Useful, product, works well
Since Methylene Chloride was banned, it's been difficult to find an effective paint stripper - but I'm glad to say that this stuff is almost as effective, and certainly safer to use. It needs to be applied as thickly as possible and then left for an hour before the softened paint can be scraped off.
Remnants can be removed with water with a little detergent added. Read full review

I can’t compare it to anything else because this is the only brand I’ve tried but it does work quite well. GC.
It’s okay. Does what it’s supposed to do. GC.

Quite good for price.
I'm glad I brought this stripper it works quite well on a louvre door that has about 15 years worth of paint. Does not remove all layers in on but a few applications should do the job.

Good product. No fumes. Easy to use.
Do as it says on tin. Once applied leave for at least an hour. Paint comes off easy. If needed would certainly use again.

Ok product but cheaper in Asda
Worked quite well on most areas of paint , however did take several applications to remove all the paint.
Could have purchased cheaper in Asda

Does what it says on the bottle
Used two coats to remove varnish from oak table top, was pleased with results, not as smelly, or caustic like others, easy to apply and remove, would defineately use again and reccommend.

Patience required
This is easy to apply, but needs a few coats to work properly - not as good as the original Langlow products, but I think those chemicals are banned now🙄
