This movie is great, if you can get past the terrible language. It does have one sex scene in it that shows way too much. We found out where it was and skipped it. From the first time I seen this series on tv I was hooked. I purchased the book and read it. While they say it's about 40% accurate for the mens stories they did change things to compress and uplift the series.

Very entertaining. One of the best depictions of what our soldiers went through during World War Two. Characters were excellently portrayed by actors.

Great for anyone interested in WW2

I'm not from a military family but I am interested in WW2. I usually stick to documentaries but thought I would give this a look. As best as I can tell, the equipment and uniforms are spot on and the set pieces as well. With no experience to compare it to the action sequences seem very realistic and sensible. The Blu-ray has great video and audio and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I would recommend it to any and all who are even the slightest bit interested in WW2.Read full review
