Only given 4 stars because it hasn't the loud speaker facility which I miss from my other phone. However, the answerphone is exceptional and at least I can SEE if I have a message! Whereas my other phone's light was so small I would walk past it - hence I bought this phone! I like the size of this phone and the rings are great which can be varied and can be heard - whereas again with my last phone I often missed a call because I couldn't hear it if I was a room away. I am very pleased with my purchase and would recommend this to anyone who doesn't mind not having the loud speaker facility which is very useful for the hard of hearing.Read full review

Good reliable phone

Nice large buttons. Like most phones plenty loud if you press Hands Free but can't hear it otherwise. It has an Amplify button that doesn't appear to do anything.
The answering machine is straightforward to use if you use the base station, but needs you to go through menus if you pick up the handset.
Usability could be better. An elderly user found some of the options a bit confusing but for everyday use it is great and I thoroughly recommend it for anyone who finds other phones too quiet, fiddly or hard to read, and everyone else too!Read full review
