The phone parts were individually wrapped. I like the black and silver colour, very stylish looking. Very easy to set up and once you installed your names and phone numbers in the phonebook,it’s automatically linked to its twin. My only negative was it would have been even better if the melodies sounds were bit clearer and more different sound choices but overall they weren’t too bad and the volume is loud enough . I like that it has the VIP for the family and friends you want to look up quickly in the phonebook and speed dial is good. Overall I like the phones and no regrets so far!Read full review

Could drive you to distraction

Initially looks good but after you’ve charged up the batteries for sixteen hours to get going the lengthy blue lit line on the base, which is all but invisible in BT’s photos, becomes distractingly bright. Then, when actually on a call, said bright blue light flashes constantly on and off. Even during the day it was irritating but in the evening with ambient lighting it was unbearable. There were only two ringtones I could bear but the base had different ringtones to the handset so had to turn the base off. A truly bizarre set up. The actual sound quality had less clarity and loudness than my old BT phone and the boost feature for the ring tone had to be used for my normal hearing. Returned for a refund. Best avoided unless you love bright flashing lights and don’t mind switching off the base.Read full review

We could not get the phone to connect when we used the long cable that we had used with the old phone to site it where we wanted. The instructions had stated only use the cables included in the box. When we did that, the phone worked perfectly. We have had to re site it somewhere that is not so convenient but we will learn to live with that. So I suggest that, if you buy one of these, you just throw the old cable away and do what it says in the instructions, it will save you a lot of hassle.Read full review

I've only had the phone for a short while but for the price I think it appears to be good value

Couldn't get on with the menu system. Only bought them to get over a cutting out problem with a more advanced phone but they were so old fashioned with no answer system I found I couldn't live with them.
