Don't buy this if you ever want to clean it.

The Compress looked fine on arrival. However, because it was packaged in an unsealed sheath, and it would be placed on the eyes and surrounding face, I went ahead and followed the instructions for cleaning it first. That, unfortunately, resulted in a bad outcome.

Under cold water, a dark fluid immediately eluted from and stained the compress. Once the compress air-dried, it had changed from soft white pads to thin, darkish, hard discs, and not something I would ever want on my face and eyes. I never did get to find out how the compress would have worked if left unwashed.

Dry eyes need moist, hot compresses and the Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress provides that for me easier than wetting a facecloth and standing over the sink for 5 minutes or longer.I do wish it was capable of a hotter temperature. I have tried other hot compresses that got very hot, but they were not moist heat and almost impossible to get the right temperature consistently and they were uncomfortable to wear. So, I'm trying Bruder.
I like the way it feels when I wear it. I really like the single eye bag for each eye, so I don't have that goggle effect that is ineffective for me to get it to feel comfortable. I always feel my eyeballs are be pressed to hard. That's a big plus, too.Read full review

SO NICE TO MY EYES

I would have given the Bruder mask five stars but it came with a flaw. The straps were too short to tie on back of my head. Fortunately I can still use without tidying it.

Bruder medibeads compress Is a great product. I’d been looking for a soothing heated eye compress that would also fit the eye contour. The best product I ever almost didn't buy

If anybody were to suggest taking my Bruder Moist Heat Eye Compress away from me, I'd have to find a blunt instrument and threaten them. For twenty years, I've been putting hot washcloths on my eyes to get relief from itching, stinging and watering. This product is so superior to that method that it's like comparing jet travel to mules. Two or three times a day, I apply them for ten minutes--usually at the beginning of a nap or when I go to bed or when I want to listen to an audiobook. I've only had mine for a month, so I don't know how often I'll have to replace it. But if it were every other week, it would still be worth it for the relief I'm experiencing. I just wish I hadn't dithered so long about trying it.Read full review

does not attain a heated temperature in a reasonable time

t this product does not get warm enough to use effectively on the eye area after being preped in the microwave oven for what could be considered a long duration of time --- like over two minutes.>
we have an old eye unit made by the same manufacture that works much better after heating in the same microwave unit at the same power setting and requires only 40-45 seconds of heating time!!!!!!!!!!!
