Brasso, part of UK heritagefor metal cleaners!!
Brasso, a name that is part of UK heritage and famous for it's metal cleaner. Have used for what seems all my life (in mid seventies) and always a good quality item that makes our brass items 'sparkle'. Glad to have found it on ebay in the larger sized tin, standard supermarkets just seem to have smaller sizes and at more expensive prices equivalent. Delivery was quick, item well packed. Many thanks.Read full review

Very watery
Need very good scraper to work with it like scotch brite also very watery if it like cream structure would be much better. Generally it does the job but how much effort you have to put on, this is the question.Read full review

Good Brass Polish
What can you say, been around for many many years. Works . Been very hard to find recently. More than doubled in price for regular sized tin. Found this ‘industrial’ sized tin on eBay. Sealed tin. Very good price. !!Read full review

Brasso
Brasso is of course perfect for final polishing up of brass and copper, and also appears to discourage tarnishing for a while too. On really heavy tarnish I prefer to start off by using a more acidic cleaner, such as citric acid, or just lemon juice, being careful not to leach out the zinc but Brasso is a vital part of the process and for maintaining the shine after that. The litre size is an economic way of dealing with a series of jobs, and my preference is to use the litre can to top up one of the smaller handy cans.Read full review

More than does what it says on the tin.
Brasso is the best metal polish I have used. It works on a wide range of metals and is easy to use. My tip is keep all your old shirts and similar materials to tear into strips for applying it and buffing. Don't use kitchen towel it is not robust enough. Also change your buffing strips often.Read full review

Brasso is excellent stuff for polishing vintage car parts.
Very good product, reliable and does exactly what it should. Shame the e-bayer I used hasn't left feedback after many weeks, so would use another supplier next time.

Best on the market
I had previously used Peek to polish the forks and wheels of my motorbike and it was useless then thought I would try Brasso it was truly excellent and far superior. It may seem to be an old fashioned product but believe me it is excellent, highly recommended.Read full review

Great for topping up.
Cheaper by volume than the smaller tins. If you use Brasso often then keep a small tin, shake the big one well and refill the small one from the large.

Fantastic value litre tin
Used it on bathroom taps, alloy wheels, copper bottomed pans and yellowing plastic headlights. All come up shiny & clear.
Have used this stuff since the 70s. Great price. Never fails me. Like WD40. Brilliant.Read full review

Hope this purchase works out cheaper
I find the standard size vey expensive, I still have the above mentioned size tin so i will now see how many times I fill it from the 1 litre size. Hopefully it will prove to work out cheaper.
