Easy to use, but does need about 25 mm of neck to allow a solid mounting.

This is a clip on tuner which appears to pick up string vibrations through the neck. It does not suffer from general surrounding noises through the air as with a phone app tuner. This seems to make it more precise and is thus nicer to use.
You do have to ensure that the previous note is dead before going on to the next. This is no great hassle as it will be obvious from the screen.
