A very low cost upgrade with high value results.
I purchased this and slid it into my 2009 BMW X5 and viola...it worked. There was no additional steps needed. I immediately took a 500 mile road trip and it worked great. Not much more to say...I feel good that I am upgraded from a 2009 database to a 2015. It would be great to get newer data but this is the end of the road, the newest available. My only complaint is a minor one...it took a long time for it to arrive, close to two weeks. That being said it was worth the wait.Read full review

Worked perfectly as a cost effective alternative to BMW discs.
These non-BMW branded navigation discs cost under $15 and solved a major issue that I was having with my navigation system. Apparently, my old disc was getting distorted as it got warm from the machine and would not work consistently until the disc was cooled down. It would frequently stop and request the disc be re-inserted. BMW told me that it would cost over $200 to replace it. These new discs worked perfectly. These two discs are a fraction of the cost of a BMW disc and work in the navigation system without error. They were easy to install, and did not get rejected by the navigation computer. I only use the east to midwest disc... I don't know when I will ever use the midwest to west coast disc.Read full review

Works great when working but sometimes as I start up my car, the navi system will tell me to insert a navigation cd but it's already in there. So I have to keep inserting it in and out until it works. Besides this problem it works out great.Read full review

I made sure to purchase the correct CD for my vehicle unfortunately I was sent a burned copy that only functions for about 5 minutes at a time. At that time the dvd drive can no longer read the cd . Do not buy this it is horrible !Read full review

Had to give one star because the ad said it would fit a 2003 BMW Z4 with factory NAV, then the instruction said "Insert into iDrive" The 2003 Z4 with factory nav does not have iDrive, so it did not work.
