Very impressed

I had my doubts about this item at first. I had been trying to source an economical garden riddle for a while, and then I came across this one. All the reviews seemed too good to be true and the price did vary from place to place, (I think the dearest I found was around £41!!!), however, I have no hesitation in endorsing this product to any gardener who has a use for it. Value for money, (if you shop around), and a good sturdy, robust build. It has saved me (literally) many hours of back breaking work with an amazing amount of ease.Read full review

Poor

Some time required scraping paint of the shaft for it to pass through tube was a minor problem and the product seams solid but it is not suitable for damp soil.

Soil Sieve

Assembly instructions were about as good as a coloured movie on a blk and white TV.

When coming to use it the handle kept popping out of the hole. So could have done with a locking nut to stop that at the end of the upright bar.

As for quality of soil was better than expected. But just wish I'd have not listed to my Mrs and got an electric one instead.

Speeds up the work

Use it at my allotment project (For adults with Learning Difficulties) and it has proved easy to use and faster than a hand held sieve. Sturdy and light enough to pick up to empty of contents that cannot be sieved, just remember not to fill it too much or it proves hard to turn the handle!

Recommended.

Easy to use

Unlike an ordinary garden riddle this product does not need shaking from side to side and is perfect for someone with a bad back. Putting it together is a little tricky as the holes need lining up, and one or two of the screws are a bit difficult to get at. It needs a short handled screwdriver. Although it looks as if it requires a sturdy level surface it functions well at the bottom of a folding wheel barrow with a fabric tray. It gives a fine result and can cope with lumpy compost. Highly recommended.Read full review

Rotasieve

The rotasieve is an excellent quality piece of garden equipment the metal is heavy duty and well finished with no rough edges. I have poor soil with lots of rubble and stones the sieve has made it easy to separate large batches of garden soil which is now ready to plant, I wish I had made my purchase years ago Read full review

Another great Wolff tool

I use lots of compost which we get from our local recycling centre. This makes the best ever fine stuff for seed sowing etc very easily. I was using a manual sieve and it was harder and the results no where near as good. Read full review

Efficient and quick

Does the job very well but the knob could be attached better - can unscrew on use.

Easy to use and does not clog the holes.

I have used this to sift year old leaf litter and compost. Also used to separate soil from my old turf. In all cases it has worked well.
I did make a wooden frame so it sits firmly above my wheelbarrow which makes it both a better height to use and rigid to stop it slipping in the wheelbarrow. The frame to about an hour to make but has made all future sifting so much easier it was well worth the time.Read full review

good could be cheaper and construction could be improved a little

the product is pretty well construted but the handle could have been made better and emptying is rather awkward as the handle keeps sliding out

rotarty seive

thought this would be another cheap thing but im using down the allotment and it is brilliant. the only coment i would have on the bad side is the legs are a bit short but it is still usable. i use it over a wheel barrow so i collect every thing i seive though it.
very good and cheap as well. brilliant.
