Strong pulse, reasonable recharge time
I'm not used to point motors but have heard stories about burn out with just switches hence this device. Gives a good clunk of a pulse sufficient to operate 2 motors simultaneously, ideal for crossovers. Recharge time is just a couple of seconds.Read full review

Arrived quickly & soon installed.
Currently wired to operate 7 points including 2 pairs. works everytime & fast recharge means hardly need to pause between operations.
LEDs show status & this revealed there was a fault which was quickly tracked to a defective control switch. I found this a useful feature.

This is a powerful yet compact CDU with a high capacitor output of 9,400uf & with a fast recharge time. Built in red LED shows when unit is charged to 15v. It will operate a number of points together with no problem & is ideal for PECO/SEEP point motors. 16v AC power input is quite adequate.
