Poor Design for Storing and Charging
Really disappointed. I have owned at least 10 Dustbusters and this is the first that can’t be hung on a wall without buying more parts. The image and the text in the listing (one_stop_tool_shop) gave no clue that this vacuum has a charging base that looks like a saucer and the vacuum stands on this base like a teapot sitting on a saucer. There is no latch or device to secure the vacuum to its charger/base and it is easily knocked off the charger/base. Considering where I will have to put this thing it will likely get knocked off its base frequently. Black and Decker should fire the guy that “engineered” this clunker. If I had it to do over I would not buy this vacuum.Read full review

This is a marvelous invention that can keep your house spotless. It is easy to use, always ready, and easy to clean up. Lightweight with great features
Lightweight, holds charge well and is easy to use. The brush that swivels onto the intake is also useful for vacuuming carpets.

Good suction and Easy to Use
The Dustbuster Vacuum easily picks up hair and other debris from the floor (relatively strong suction). It is a tad on the noisy side but since it picks up dirt efficiently, it doesn't need to run that long. Other hand vacuums seem to need multiple sweeps to do the same job.
The overall length is good which means it's a little easier to reach corners and low spots.
The opening appears to be small on first glance, but the performance seems unaffected. The brush and nozzle extension work well and conveniently since neither are a separate part.
Battery life is adequate for many small jobs and charge time is about 4 hours as listed. It's really for spot jobs and not large areas.Read full review

IMPROVEMENT OVER OLD DESIGN
More powerful than old Dust Buster. Wobbles when placed on base but at least it is easier to remove than the old design. The skinny nose attachment does not stay extended when using it in tight areas like around car seat and door. Brush just moves dirt around and doesn't help sucking it up.Read full review

So far so good. I have only used the vacuum a few times, but the suction is markedly better than my previous Black and Decker. The length of the wand is longer and has a retractable brush. It is fairly light and will be using it more in the warmer weather.Read full review
