Ideal all purpose tool

I bought this to replace my Craftsman Bolt on drill as the bearings had gone after years of hard work.

This is extremely good value for money (especially when you consider a battery alone can cost around $40) - and the big bonus is that all my Bolt On accessories fit perfectly.

Forget it!

There was excessive sparking and noisy operation right out of the box. This is the third time I've had trouble with B & D drills. First was a broken chuck, second was a defective trigger switch, third was the problem I just described. I bought it for the Matrix feature, and only Sears Craftsman offers this option as its "Bolt-on" feature. Looking at Sears website, their tool looks suspiciously like the same B & D model as this, with some cosmetic changes to make it a Sears brand. Looks like I'm stuck with either buying 2 separate tools (1 drill/driver and one impact tool) or a multi-tool kit at $$$$ from another manufacturer. No more B & D...promise! Read full review

I have used a lot of times so far, I have bought an extra battery because of it doesnt have power level indicator. As a homeowner doing projects at home, this is one really necessary tool.
