Excellent drill for the money
Excellent value for money. To have a hammer drill option plus 2 speed settings and a totally controllable variable speed in the trigger for the money is excellent. It is also light weight and the battery lasts well. The only criticism I would make is the hammer option isn't as powerful as some of the much more expensive cordless drills but you would have to pay at least another £100 for them. Certainly fine for most DIY purposes and comes with a 2 yr warranty.Read full review

Black and Decker BCD700S1K-GB Hammer Drill.
I bought this combination drill to replace my ageing battery operated hammer drill. The original drill was too bulky and heavy for use as a drill and combined screwdriver. Also the batteries did not last long between charges and took far too long to recharge.
This Black and Decker drill is a vast improvment. It is 2/3rds of the size and less than half the weight of my old drill. The batteries are 1/4 of the size and more powerful. The charge lasts longer and recharge time is very good.
In use the drill is light and easy to use. It packs a fair amount of power and makes short work of even tough drilling jobs. It is also good in use as a screwdriver with precise speed control and strong torque. The adjustable torque setting is a good feature and avoids overtightening of small screws.
In conclusion this is an excellent combination drill and good value for money. Recommended.

B&D hand drill
this drill driver is a small compact size which is ideal for smaller spaces, the only downside is the charging time and the smaller battery.
